Hello
I suppose this is a longshot, but I had a Netgear AC1900 gateway that I picked up early last year when I was on the residential services - however due to my working from home and extremely high traffic - I needed to convert my account to a business account...
So prior to - I was running this modem/router combo for some time on the highest tier of the residential business side and it performed extremely well - much better IMO than what was supplied to us.
Now I am having to replace 'defective' equipment 2 months into this service due to some WiFi defect -- which I am not angry, but I never been a fan of Moto nor Arris chipsets that is primarly pushed on at least the residential side...
When I had my installation performed, I checked into bringing my gateway into the fold and was told it wasn't supported
Of course looking at https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/comcast-business-cable-modem-device-compatibility/
The AC1900 isn't there...however, the SAME modem chipset is supported (the CM700)...they are the same device actually, just the AC1900 (C7000) has the built in router gateway...
I suppose this is much more directed towards Comcast directly and not the community - but trying to get on the phone to make such a request felt like it was self-defeating because you get lost in the phone trees...
But expanding the supported hardware would be amazing IMO
