I believe that I've found a bug with the firmware in the SMC modems. If you have IPv6 support and you want to use it, you might go into the admin web console Firewall -> Port Configuration -> Allow public access to LAN side IPv6 Hosts And then you might add an allow rule for a MAC address. And if you did that, your SMC router will reboot itself every 6 hours or so. I assume some kind of memory leak.
